It has been almost two weeks now since I started full time, and initially, my “cubicle” was very spartan: white walls, greyish and empty desk and a chair. As the title implies, I have been decorating; I still want to put something on the wall behind me, when sitting at the desk, but its a start. And yes for those who are wondering – that is the top of the crate

I like the “vase”
best use of a whitebox machine i’ve seen yet.
Oh the crate! you should mount it a bit higher up but, the wall does look very blank above desk height
Mounting on the wall is just not going to happen. For practical reasons such as the support beam that runs a diagonal and sticks out about 2cm. And for more aesthetic reasons: its far easier to move this way.
I think next weekend after all the dust of moving and cooking has settled I might get some canvas and we’ll do some painting
for the walls.
