Morning Thoughts #1
Hi All,
The AFP is reporting on a new book by Stephen Hawking. The basic premise is to make real-science equally exciting as science-fiction. Having recently taken out a New Scientist subscription I can’t argue with the reasoning: It would be really good if people took more interested in the “coolness” of science and other geeky/nerdy stuff. Of course coolness might be subjective to the reader in this case.
In other news GWB is in the country. Thats all I have to say about that.
(Wow I love Firefox – I accidentally Ctrl+W’d this tab – closes the tab – without saving this post; using the “Recently Closed Tabs” menu I got it all back without any work).
In Matthew 18:20 we read about the presence of Christ where 2 or 3 are gathered in His name. We gather regularly for meetings, fellowship and sometimes just socializing. We all have our reasons and motivations – but we should be gathering in His name.
Thats my thoughts for this morning the 5th of September.
