$30 Challenge: Day 6
I did some more shopping today, the photo is after the jump, so now I’m down to $0.95 remaining. Someone suggested I have 3 soft serve cones. No thanks.
Today was relatively active, relatively, we dug a hole at the beach. Moving around 7 cubic meters of sand. That was fairly exerting. And also rather enjoyable. I also got adventurous with the food prep for dinner. I still have a left over spaghetti bolognese from Day 4 – so I’d like to officially announce that the cat is in the bag. All that I need to do now is enjoy the experience until Monday morning.
Extra Shopping

Jelly, Onion and 2 x Chilli’s.
Lunch

Jam sandwhich’s and a pear and an orange.
Dinner

Self made rissoles with vegetable side.
Notes
- I’m almost out of milk. But the 1L is going strong.
- When digging big holes on the beach buy a good shovel, perhaps more than one, don’t set your sights too high: have a large slave labour force.
Dinner Recipe
Thaw mince, chop half an onion finely, chop chilli’s finely. Combine with your hands. Take one egg and extract the egg white: You can do this by carefully breaking the shell in half and pouring the contents back and forward until only the yolk is left. Mould the mix into meat balls and then BBQ like hamburger’s.
Serve with bread and vegetables.
Comments
I have jelly for tomorrow. Excellent.
