MultiWAN Linux Router
In this tutorial we walk through how I setup a Ubuntu Linux server to use 2 ADSL connections. I’m posting this in the hope that it is useful to someone else. I needed the 2 connections at work where we’ve been experimenting with Trixbox (that’s a VoIP PBX) lately and have found that voice quality is appauling when contending with data from computers on the network. Note: ADSL isn’t the best technology for VoIP but it’s all we have to work with. Basically the data from computers is going out over one connection and voice data over another. There are other reasons you might want to MultiWAN the obvious example is redundancy / fail over.
